When Ella Brown first decided she wanted to be a doctor she didn't want to tell anyone, but after choosing science A-Levels and gaining the relevant experience she sent off her applications. In her first attempt she failed to get a place and felt devastated at the rejection, but after using her gap year to gain more experience and travel she gained a place at Barts Uni to study medicine. Realising she wasn't behind as she had feared, she enjoyed her time and intercalating with a degree in Global Health. Finally she talks us through what is next as a junior doctor, the impact COVID had and deciding her specialty.
